Circa Arts Gallery 528 East Colfax Avenue, South Bend
While traveling through down town South Bend today, I came across Circa Arts Gallery owned by Kathy Reddy White. In business for about 10 years, Circa has over 40 local artists on display. Kathy views Circa as a cross between an Art Gallery and a Retail Shop which is easy to see why. Circa has items for sale from $10 all the way up to $8,000. But the Art Gallery part of the shop is really Art for the every day person.
One of the highlights of Circa is the Motawi and Pewabic Tile displays. Kathy says that those 2 are the leader in the Artist Tile Movement. Another passion of Kathy’s is her Christmas Cards. Since 1998 she specially makes cards every year……and they look incredible! Circa also features an Artist Of The Month which happens to be Virgil Exner Jr. this month to coincide with Studebaker Museum’s current show of retired automotive designers.
