Ben Roseland Studio & Gallery, Meet The Atrist, 16081 Brick Road, Granger
This Friday from 7 pm to 11 pm, local artist Ben Roseland is having a “meet the artist” event at his studio in Granger. Ben does great paintings, as I recently purchased one myself, and he has a passion for bringing a greater presence of The Arts to Michiana. Don’t worry if you are not part of the art crowd, Ben fashions his work towards both collectors of art and to those like myself who really just like cool looking art work once in awhile but really do not know very much about art.
Ben graduated in 2005 from the Columbus College of Art Design and he considers himself a Contemporary Abstract while using acrylic paint. On occassion he will also paint Landscapes which he does with the tradition oil paints. Ben’s gallery has been open since December 2, 2010. One of his new projects that he is working on is a piece that is made out of 77 3×3 individually painted squares that when placed close together form a photo of Notre Dame’s Golden Dome.
