Day 90 of 365 Things To Do In Michiana

DaVinci’s Italian Restaurant, 2720 Cassopolis Street, Elkhart

If you are in the mood from some GREAT Italian food, the DaVinci’s in Elkhart is definitely worth the trip! Without a doubt, one of the best Pizza’s you will find in Michiana! A great crust, sweet sauce and a lot of cheese…..but not too much cheese though.  But Pizza is not the only reason to go to DaVinci’s. Their pasta’s and salads are great as well and the menu even extends out into steaks, chicken and fish.

The owners of DaVinci’s, Giuseppe (Joe) and Rosa were born in Southern Italy. In 1969, at the age of 20, Joe and his family immigrated to the United States where they settled in Elkhart. In 1978 during a visit in Italy, Joe met his bride Rosa and they were married in 1979 which was when Rosa came to the U.S. In 1981, Joe and his brother Domenico opened Columbo’s which they both still operate. In 1992 Joe and Rosa opened DaVinci’s which their son Pietro helps them operate. DaVinci’s has seating for 100 plus a private banquet room that holds 60. They have daily specials including daily lunch specials.

DaVinci’s is open Tuesday through Thursday from 11 am to 9 pm, Friday 11 am to 10 pm, Saturday 4 pm to 10 pm and Sunday 4 pm to 9 pm. You can find DaVinci’s online at www.DaVincisRestaurant.biz and they can be contacted by phone at 574-262-1058.
