Is Now A Good Time To Build?

Now is not only a good time to buy a house, but it is also a good time to have on built as well. Because of the slower economy right now, builders are getting creative with upgrades and other incentives that make building a new home very attractive. And, if you don’t mind buying a spec. home, the deals can be even better. I recently sold a new construction spec. home and got the buyer a lower price than what was listed along with about $10,000 worth of upgrades. Builders like to build, not sit on homes that have been built and are waiting on buyers.

With the current economy, you will find less builders building spec. homes and doing more building on demand instead. That has its advantages too, since builders are more apt, right now, to change floor plans to fit the needs of their buyers.

Bottom line, it is a great time to buy a home!
