Be Cooperative

You would think that this would be a no brainer, but think again! If your agent can never get a hold of you to set up showings, then how can they sell your house? I never expect to be able to show a house 100% of the time when I request to. There are always things that come up that prohibit showings, family in town, holidays or a family emergency or illness. That is understandable. What is not understandable is not returning phone calls or wanting the house to be shown when it is convenient for you. Make it easy to show and sell your house and you should be rewarded with a better and higher offer.

I have had to withdraw listings before because the sellers would never let me show the property. An agent has money in advertising and marketing and time, you have to give them the chance to recoup their money.
