Be Realistic

Everyone thinks that there home is worth more than it actually is, me included. So, be realistic and open minded. We all want to get top dollar for our home, but the market will only pay what it is willing to pay. That is called market value. Don’t be thrown off by what the city or county have assessed your property value at, as that is for tax purposes. An appraisal will give you a guideline for value, but it represents what the market may be willing to pay in perfect market conditions. The market will only pay what it is willing to pay!
